The Architecture and Climate research team feels that part of its activities should be devoted directly to the service of society. 

These activities fall under four headings :

• Continuing training of architects and energy technicians.
  
  
• Participation in conferences, seminars and study days.
  
  
• It recently created a spin off advies and studies in the field of sustainable architecture, MATRIciel, which proposes :
  
  -  advice on the development of architectural projects from the initial design phase.
  
  -  studies and expert opinions on energy audits and guidance for buildings or institutions.
